It was the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, and the need for speed all rolled up into one great event: Conshohocken's annual July 4th Soap Box Derby!
Part block party, part the human drama of athletic competition, this was a fun way to spend the morning of Independence Day.

Awesome shots, Steve. I love still photos that suggest motion, and you did that perfectly. The panning shot is some of your best work--you can even read the URL on the side of the car, while his opponent is a blur. It's nice.
